** Craigengelt **
Access to the dive site is via the stairs just oustide the Bell Rock Hotel on the north side of the harbour. A few stairs to negotiate followed by slippery rocks.
Best to dive when the tide is out as this makes the trip across the rocks easier. Navigation needs to be good. Jump entries are the order of the day - make sure that it is safe to do so prior to entering the water.
Plenty of pipe fish, some flat fish, urchins, crabs, hermit crabs, dead mans fingers and lobsters can all be seen. Viz not good this day. Water temp = 12 degrees C.

** The Yetes **
Spelling may be wrong!! This dive site is situated on the right hand side of the harbour out towards the rocks that can be easily seen. Swim towards the rocks, which if a perpindicular line was to be drawn towards land, lie approximately half way along the harbour wall.
If sea conditions are good the dive will take an hour to get out, around the rocks and back again. Watch your air!!!
Kelp is almost everyhwere in the shallows so a short surface swim could be beneficial prior to descent.
Sandy bottoms and submerged rocky outcrops gives interest to the dive if the Yetes are not made.
Best to dive to the Yetes, deploy and DSMB and have a boat pick you up.
Explosion of pipe fish here, absolutley everyhwere. Viz was not that great but not bad either. Water temp = 11 degrees C.

Some nice diving to be had around harbour area in Dunbar. To dive here you need to walk round harbour to end, do and jump entry and follow coast round into cove (hole). There is a lot of kelp, but there can also be a lot of fish, and waters are calm. Dives off side of harbour (rightside) nice but prone to thick kelp but a nice dive!
