March 2004 Rockingham has a interesting dive trail, it can be reached via the beach and is marked by two permanent dive boys. The trail consists of a washing machine, 3 x small wooden wrecks, 2 x small Cessna planes and a tire pile. A map can be found in the local dive shop and the sites are linked via rope runs, keep you eye on these as you can find little sea horses hanging around. Vis is not great as the sand can get quite stirred up, specially when the PADI classes start, But all in all a good dive to learn your Navigation and find interesting things to see, with nothing much deeper than 20 meters.
