on the north point of isla espiritu santo also called isla partida just about three miles away there is a colony of sea lions one of the largest colony around baja california. with about 350 to 400 sea lions and growing LOS ISLOTES or the sealions colony is one of the most popular places that divers from all over the world come looking for at our dive shop scince is a dive point that even the less experience diver can deal with and also the experience of diving with the sea lions is amaizing because they're so playfull with humans specially the puppies that come and look for the divers to play with.
but don't be thinking about that's the only thing you will see because there is lot's more to see from muleginos to eals, sea bass, snapers ,sardins, puffers, sting rays, barracudas. and if you are lucky bat rays, mobulas and some times we even see turtles. its an amaizing ecosistem full of life with a full variety of fish and corall to see.
from el malecon to los islotes the boat ride is about 45 minutes and just incase you bring family that doesn't know how to dive we also recomend snorkeling or kayak at this point.
the depts are close to the rocks 25 feet and to the outer side from 80 to 100 feet
