April 2010 Panagatan is a hidden gem, off shore islands which are habitated but not frequently dived. 4-5 hrs by boat from boracay so best spend one night on boat. Good visibility in april. Strong currents bring pelagics. We saw school of 10+ mantas, 2 mobula rays, 2 great hammerheads, couple of grey reefs and lots white tips. plus usualy jacks, trevailly, barracuda, sea snakes. dolphins off boat. no whalesharks but they are there! wall actually at 45m+ so diving just above it. for advanced divers only but is the best chance of seeing big things near boracay. hopefully going again this year. is big blue diving essentially though you can see the floor, but can be an all or nothing affair.
