West Coast Diving was established in 1989 has been providing a sales, servicing and cylinder testing facility ever since. The shop is well stocked with everything you could need to start diving (or lose on a dive expedition!). A sensible pricing structure exists so that you will not have to pay over the odds. There is always a qualified diver and trained service technician on hand when the shop is open. The shop can be opened out of hours by arrangement and conversly can sometimes be closed. Best call ahead to ensure staff are available. Diving courses can be arranged through SSAC, BSAC and PADI.
Diving in the area is exciting and varied. There are many wrecks in the Clyde estuary, most of which are buoyed and GPS marks for others are available. Diving with seals is a distinct possibility at Lady Isle.
Boat launching for Ayr Bay is available at Troon. Other slips exist, so again, call for info.
