September 2006 Like a lot of places in th Med fish life was a little sparse, although there were large groups of Jacks and Barracuda and the odd turtle.

September 2006 I spent a week in Kas and dived 5 days (10 dives). Visibility was incredible - at least 20 meters - As the water was so warm, there were less fish than expected (although one one dive - Oasis - we saw several very big groupers), but the underwater landscape was beautiful. I dived with Archipel. They are very friendly and their boat is really well adaptated to divers. I would really recommend Kas to anyone who wants to dive in a wonderful location where there are plenty of other things to do, such as hiking, kayaking, canyoning and visiting ancient sites.

August 2004 This was the first place I ever dived. A lovely place to do a try-dive. It was a great experience, so much so that I am now qualified and can't dive enough!

June 2006 The drive in Kas from the west along the cost road is breath taking and can only be compared to the Great Ocean Road in Australia. Kas charming and is set in a stunning location, the town climbs into the on looking mountain backing onto the bay, the steep roads create a terrace effect ensuring that almost every property has a clear view out to the sea. As you look to sea the aqua coloured sea glimmers highlighting the many small islands just off the cost. I did three dives in this area all with Bourgainville Dive (www.bougainville-turkey.com) after diving 16 odd dives around Fethiye, and it was fantastic. It could have been a different country there was life everywhere you looked. We had seen more fish in one dive than all the dives put together in Fethiye. The dives sites were much closer to the town, the water temp was a whole 2 degrees higher, with the Avg at about 19C. My last dive was so eventful I did not want to get out the water not mater what my computer said. We were bait balled by good size Jacks for around 20 mins, we saw Spanish Dancers, a large Octopus get very cuddly with an other diver, rock lobsters and flying fish, plus loads more. There are some 20 dive centres in the harbour front in Kas, so your bound to be able to find someone to dive with. I enjoyed my time with Bougainville, they uses 11l steal tanks, with a few 15 and 18’s for Air gulpers. After the dive you get a complimentary Tea (Apple or English), all the staff are friendly and helpful. In all if you are flying to Turkey to dive, KAS is a must.. you wont regret it.

September 2005 A really great place, although when we were there the water was so warm (28 degrees) that most of the marine life had sunk lower than our maximum depths. Dived with Sirena, who were great
