The Dimitri hit the rocks in 1968 and was dynamited to salvage it's valuable machinery, then during a storm it sank. Top of the wreck at 23m bottom around 40m. From the anchorage head through the shallow gorge and drop over the edge, here there can be a strong current. The canyon is 19m at the bottom, be careful not to hit the sides when flying down the wall into it. Corals and sponges around and inside the cave. Chances to see morays on the wall. Head out of the canyon and keep to the right hand side wall. This will bring you to the top of the wreck. Usually some big groupers around the bottom of the wreck. A couple of small inside bits of the wreck are navigable but not much. Always seen picarels around here too. Make a safety stop before going over the shallows to get back to your boat.
