There are many and varied reef dives in and around Lagos as well as several wrecks. You can have dives over life-packed reef to find octopii, congar eels, sea horses, dolphins, various rays and loads and loads of fish varieties. The two best wreck dives in the area are at Bergau and Luz. The wreck at Bergau is a overturned barge in about 8m of water, allowing a long bottom time and the ability to drop down into the hold easily. The wreck at Luz is deeper - in 30m - so is usually dived with nitrox. Whatever your diving preferences, Lagos diving has something to offer.

Sea temps: 22C in summer (av), 16C in winter (av).
Air temps: 35C in summer (av), 20C in winter (av).

Airports: Lagos is an hours drive on easy roads from Faro airport. Easyjet fly to Faro regularly and cheaply.
Other activities include windsurfing, kite surfing, sight seeing, sailing, horse riding, cycling and lots more.
