The diving was good, with the dive sites very close to the resort. It's a good place for macro photography, but didn't see many big critters. Puerto Galeria is easy to get to, but it does take time. We left California, re-fueled in Hawaii, landed in Manila. From Manila, we took a two hour bus trip to a bay where we caught a boat to take us to our resort, approximately 45 minutes away. The resort is right on the water in the village of Sabang.

There is a gorgeous nine-hole golf course on the island that is about an hour ride from the resort. If you like golf, play this course, primarily for the views. It is approximately 4,000 feet in elevation!

I enjoyed diving at Puerto Galera, but was disappointed in the lack of big fish. I got some great macro shots, and was able to get my film processed in Sabang, cost around $5/roll, processed in about an hour.

Food at the resort was very good.

I'll be going back again soon. Enjoy this wonderful place if you get the opportunity.
