Went to Bodrum in a liveaboard in May 05, the bottom is very Rocky with only a small amount of coral. Quite a bit of life though like, Octopus, Morray eels, Parrot fish, sea bass etc. some great wall dives(going down to over 60m) and caverns if you go a bit further out than the 'day trippers' which you get on the liveaboards that are available. No wreck dives around that area, but well worth diving. Water was a bit cold, only at 18c.

The town itself is full of nightlife and you cant help but haggle for a bargin or two in the markets which dont really swing into action until about 5pm but then stay open until after midnight.
