The diving is all made from the shore with the reefs next to the beach. There is plenty of hard coral formations and some soft corals. The variety of colours is breathtaking. I have made over 4000 dives here and never tire of the underwater world.

You will see many kinds of small and medium sized reef fish and sometimes Turtles, Eagle Rays, Sting Rays and maybe a Whale Shark! There are no strong currents so diving is easy and safe.

Eilat has many bars hotels and restaurents, and you are only a short distance from Jordon and Egypt. You can take a guided tour to the holy region of Jerusalem in 1 day.

If you are flying from Europe you can go direct to Ovda which is 30 minutes from Eilat, or fly to Tel-Aviv and take a connecting flight to Eilat.

I am british born and have lived here in Eilat for 10 years. I have had 3 chrildren here and consider Eilat and Israel to be the safest place to live on Earth
