The Togean Islands, a remote archipeligo in Tomini Bay, Central Sulawesi. The Togean Islands are reknowned for their outstanding beauty above and below the water. Islands with exquisite white sand beaches and sandstone cliffs cloaked in virgin rainforest, surrounded by pristine coral reefs and emerald seas. Tomini Bay is the epicentre for the most coral diversity in the world. The Togean Islands offer the extrordinary opportunity to explore all three types of coral reef; fringe, barrier and atoll. The marine life is equally diverse and dramatic. Also there is unique chance to dive on a B24 Bomber wreck from WWII in perfect condition

The reefs are a paradise for divers and snorkelers alike. Above the water you can walk in the surrounding forest for bird-watching, or see the local culture of the Bajo people (Sea gypsies), try fishing local style or simply relaxing and sunbathing in an untouched paradise.

Main routes to the islands are either from the north Manado, then down to either Gorontalo where there is a weekly public ferry or boat charter available or to Luwuk from Manado then car to Bunta or Ampana for a public boat or charter to Wakai the main town in the islands. From there it's easy to get to Kadidiri the main diving island.
