Wildness prevails on the Bay Islands, just off the North coast of Honduras. In Roatan, the largest of the Bay Islands, the sheer vertical walls and 100 ft plus visibility invite the adventurous diver to experience swarms of sharks, penetrate shipwrecks or dive with Dolphins. Most of the diving on the West side is done on the Sandy Bay and West End Marine Reserve. These reefs are lush with flowing gorgonians, clumps of purple tunicates like grapes on the vine, and forraging butterfly fishes and angelfish. West End is a relaxed place, where a hammock and a good book compete with the urge to dive. With over 40 dive sites to choose from on the Marine Reserve every dive is a good one.

As the sunsets over the West End the night life start to come alive. With over 30 bars and restaurants to choose from there is never a dull moment.
