Excellent cold water diving. You will be surrounded by natural kelp forests that support the abundance of sea otters, harbor seals, rock fish and invertabrates. The most popular dive site is Breakwater at San Carlos Beach where on Saturdays it is virtually impossible to squeeze through the air bubbles. Some of the lesser known are Otter Cove, Monastary Beach and Pt. lobos. All of which are located in the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary. On bad visibility days, you can always peruse the world renowned Monterey Bay Aquarium and see what you would have seen down below. Cannery Row is always fun for the whole family.
