Went to Kyrenia in June '05. Not a lively place but very very nice, and the weather was fantastic.

Everything centres around the old harbour which is beautiful. Its packed with restaurants and nice bars - just what you need after a hard days diving. Northern Cyprus is very unspoilt and never overcrowded. There is a book called Dive sites of Northern Cyprus which is very informative. All the dive sites are marked with buoys so you go straight to them. I would recommend Northern Cyprus for diving, the water is warm and clear. Many fish to see and beautiful coral. Turtles nest on the coast of Northern Cyprus in May to September so the chances of seeing them are very great. I saw five on my dives in one week. If you go I'm sure you wont be dissapointed.

Happy Diving. Chris Haywood-Poole
