As a holiday resort Magarita is not bad.

Went horse riding whilst there as well as diving. Ideal place to visit if you fancy going to the Angel Falls or an Amazon Trek.

Only did 4 dives during the 2 weeks there. Diving near the hotel wasn't up to much. Poor visability and not much marine life.

Did manage one good impromptu dive whilst out on a snorkelling trip. Dived the wreck of a ferry named the Santa Anna. The ship was beached, after catching fire, by the captain with no casualties. A few lorries and cars are still evident. The bow is approx 15 feet out of the water whilst the stern sits in approx 30 feet. There is a small barge sunk next to the ferry that can be easily entered.

Flights are direct from Gatwick, London.
