The water around the Isle of Wight provide some of the most exciting diving in England. The ledges and rocks around the Island have caused numerous shipwrecks many of which are accessible by boat. The waters teem with marine life and there is dramatic underwater scenery and an amazing variety of plant and fish life. Regular sightings of Bass, Wrasse, cuttlefish and rays, crabs and lobsters and some of the wrecks house extreemly large conger eels!! Visiblity can be murky in some places when the weather is bad but often we have visiblilty of 10-15 meters. There are several local shore dives which are shallow (max 10 meters) and perfect for novice or newly qualified divers.
