Dive the Barrier Reef in 16 different locations from north to south. Lots of Black Coral, spotted eagle rays, nurse shark, splendid toad fish, moray eels, hawks bill turtles.

Water visibility is usually 70-100+. You can snorkel, fish for bonefish, tarpon and permits, or deep sea troll for marlin, sailfish, king fish, tunas, barracudas.

It is quite easy to get to the Blue Marlin Lodge. On arrival at the Belize International you take a commuter flight for 20 minutes to Dangriga the mainland town, then connect with a boat ride to South Water Caye which is 35 minutes. The Blue Marlin Lodge sits directly on the crest of the Barrier Reef.

You will see large spern and grooves, brain coral, and lots of other corals and marine life. Special time of year to visit is in April, May, June & July when the lodge offers dives to the whale shark zone in the Gladden Split. If staying for a week you will also be able to experience two worlds Glovers Atoll and the Barrier Reef. For those non divers, tours to the bird sanctuary where the brown footed boobies and frigate birds nest and live. Or, visit the mangrove islands in from on twin caye to see the manatees.

The island is situated in the Stann Creek District. Inland tours are easily accessible.
