Balicasag is a wonderful Island 40mins by boat from Alona Beach Panglao Island. Fly to Cebu/ferry to Tagbileran then taxi to Alona Beach approx 40 min by car 500pesos. Or fly direct to Tagbieran then taxi to Alona.

Reef is good and the area is a protected government backed 'fish sanctuary' no dynamite fishing here!

There is only one dive shop, part of the Philippine run resort. the accommodation comprises of beach huts. Stayed one night April 2007 - Highly recommended. Very comfortable. 2400p inc breakfast. Resort also does dive packages

The Island very quiet with a very small population.

Dived at balicasag as part of my open water course completed with Genesis Divers Alona beach But will deffo be returning to do fun dives there.

What can I say HIGHLY Recommended Go !
