Diving in SE Florida is fantastic. All the dive sites from Delray Beach in the north to Boca Raton and Deerfield beach in the South are within one mile of the shoreline. Three reef lines offer depths from 15 to 150 feet with the most popular sites being at 45-70 feet. Visibility averages over 60 feet. The reefs are teaming with life. Some of the bigger critters you can encounter are turtles, reef sharks, Goliath Groupers, Sting rays, Eagle rays, Moray eels, Jacks and big Cuda.

Wrecks are so prolific that you could dive a different wreck every day for almost a month. The rides are short and the boats are great. the Hydro Atlantic is within a half mile of the Boca Raton inlet and has been voted as one of the top ten natural wrecks in the United States.

Accomodations, restaurants and entertainment are world class and bargains are everywhere. Stretch your dollar and treat yourself to the best. This area is referred to as the Florida Dive Coast.

Two tank trips run $50. A very nice room will be $65 Summer or $95 winter and include breakfast. You'll need a car from $35 per day.

Just do a Google search on 'Delray Beach scuba', 'Boca Raton Scuba' or 'Deerfield Beach Scuba' to find a great operator and all the information you could want.
