Crown Point is in the South of Tobago, a truly beautiful island of the Caribbean. The waters are fed by the Yucatan river out of South America and as such are nutrient rich supplying the local aquatic life with an abundance of food that allows the area to accommodate a spectacular range of marine life. You will commonly see nurse sharks, white tip reef sharks, and some of the fish growing to record breaking proportions not normally seen in the Caribbean. Further up the coast you can encounter hammerheads and dolphins. There can be some strong currents providing some excellent drift diving.

Around Crown Point there are plenty of places to eat, drink and relax. If you want a little exercise, Tobago has one of the largest and oldest rainforests in the Caribbean that throngs with numerous exotic birds, monkeys and a generally outstanding visual panorama. For something to remember the island by, you can explore the local craft shops looking for bargains or relax on one of the many beaches that decorate this beautiful island.

There are regular international flights direct into Tobago with the local island flight operators providing short flights from the other islands. There is also a ferry between Tobago and Trinidad.

The Carnival in Tobago is rich in tradition and culture. This annual event usually happens in February. A great party atmosphere.

Tobago is where Robinson Crusoe was filmed and continues to be the inspiration for numerous spin offs.
This is a truly beautiful island and is very laidback and is great for relaxing.
