I've been to Providencials 3 times now and loved each time. The diving off the west coast is excellent. However, I have noticed that over the past few years, the reef has become a bit washed out in places. The wall is still in excellent shape and the life is excellent as well.

The island itself is being built up very quickly. It has started to get a reputation of the rich and famous as a place to build a vacation home and the resorts are popping up all over the place. The road conditions have improved greatly due to this boom. There are very nice restaurants. However, the shopping is still greatly limited.
