A potentially challenging dive with a maximum depth of thirty six metres, and often in quite a strong current, the advantage of these conditions being that it often attracts lots of life hiding from the current. I dived this site just before Christmas 2006 with 'Devotion 2 Ocean' who are based at the Rex Grenadian Resort, and run a highly professional operation. A negative descent into 28 degree water was required and we dropped onto the wreck perfectly, as soon as we were on the wreck we saw the largest Hawksbill turtle that I have ever seen, then a school of Barracuda gently swam past us together with seven or eight Spotted Eagle Rays. We finned to the bow of the wreck with the Rays to find around fifteen Nurse Shark resting on the sea bed, Amazing!
All the excitement and working in a strong current had me use my air rather quickly so I recorded a relatively short dive time, but the content of which exceeded all my expectations and was far better than any dive I had previously done in the Caribbean.
