All in all the trip was a long journey to see macro life....mostly nudibranchs. I loved some of the critters, but the trash in the area, both topside and beneath the water is really depressing. Food at the resort was good for the most part, rooms were OK, nothing fancy.

I particularly wanted to improve my photographic skills and the Phillipines were the perfect place to do this. If you want to see frogfish, this is the place to go!

This was my first diving trip to the PI and I know now that I will go back many more times. I traveled with the owner of Micronesia Divers Assoc. Pete Peterson to assist in making a video. Diving was spectacular as was the night life around town.

Excellent diving, the majority of dive sites are within a few minutes boat ride from the harbour.
Frog Fish, Pygmy Seahorses, Cuttlefish, and lots of nudibranchs

Did my Advanced Open Water with a group of students from my school. LaLaguna Beach Resort instructors were fantastic. Had 16 typhoons before our arrival so a lot of coral damage. Very focussed on diving and not a family tourist resort. Great weather and enjoyed the diving with the Canyons and Hole in the Wall being the highlights. Good place for school groups.
