January 2006 Similan has greater biodiversity than the gulf of Thailand side. Richelieu is full of pelagic and macro life. Manta is often spotted in Koh Bon especially the first dive of the day. The standard of services is better than anywhere else provided you use the thai dive centre. They almost carry you down the platform.
