March 2013 Good couple of dives - was on a cruise so just a stop off - good sized lobsters on the wreck - some rays and turtles

February 2006 This was a nice site for a beginner. This was my very first dive and it was incredible.

May 2005 As this was not officially a 'dive' holiday I only did one days diving (2 dives) in St Maarten and a day trip to Saba for 2 dives. I was a little disappointed with the quantity of fish seen on the St. Maarten dives. However, the Anchors & cannons were certainly worth a close look on the Proselyte Reef. The second dive (Mikes Maze) was again 'thin on the ground' with fish but this was fully redeamed when on returning to the boat a hugh lime green frogfish was spotted !

June 2005 We dove 4 days (7 dives total) with Dive Safari in Simpson Bay. The shop, boat, crew, and staff were excellent. Over night equiptment storage and on-site shower made a good experience even better. Much better diving than anticipated - wide variety of corals and fish, easy diving (surge made a few sites a little more work, 50' - 70' depth most dives). Every dive involved close encounters with lobster, rays and barracudas. No wet suit needed as water was warm at 50' -70'. Lots to do out of the water - shopping at Phillipsburg and Maragot, numerous dining from cheap to $$$. Rental car is best way to get around. Wish we had done a day trip to Saba, but that gives us an excuse to go back!! We did a day snorkel trip to Prickly Pear with Dive Adventure that we very enjoyable.
