September 2006 If you like to dive in warm water this is the place I clocked it at 30° and 30 m, and don't worry about the reef shark's there just seems to be hundreds of them circling you all the time, gives you an idea how Col Custer felt.

December 2005 We stayed at Sandals over the Christmas and New Year break and had a fantastic time. The diving was included within the all inclusive package so it was fantastic value. They launch from the pier off the hotels beach so there was no travelling to and from a dive center. The staff of the dive center were very good - as good as I have ever seen anywhere. The diving itself was very different from what I have experienced before, but we really enjoyed it. The walls were spectacular dropping off to literally thousands of feet below you. We didn't go on a shark feeding dive ourselves but we did dive the site during non feeding times. There were plenty of sharks around and it was great to see so many of them. At one point we counted 15 of them circling us :) The wrecks were good and I really enjoyed the Shipyward (3 wrecks) and the Mahoney which had been blasted to bits, but was a haven for huge shoals of snapper and lots more. Would I go back? Probably not as there is a whole wide world out there to explore, but it was definately a great place to visit and I'm glad we went.

June 2005 Stayed @ Sandals so received 2 free dives a day, which was fantastic, not the best diving and the boat broke down one day so no diving at all, but they did arrange to go to Stuart Ciove the next day. The Sharks are FANTATSIC though

June 2005 Liked the diving, although Stuart Cove's seemed to always be in a rush to get divers into and out of the water. Went to Nassau town one day - left after 45 minutes - overrun with cruise ship people. Stayed at Orange Hill, well away from the crowds.

Wreck Dives:

Here are the wreck dives we know of for Nassau.

Carib Breeze
The Carib Breeze was sunk just south of Nassau. The 200-foot oil tanker, donated by Shell Oil Company, was put there through the efforts of Stuart Cove and his team at Stuart Coves Dive Bahamas. Divers can tour the massive vessel, which will become an artificial reef. The bow lies in about 75 feet of water and the stern in about 50 feet.
3m / 10ft
24m / 79ft
Deliberately sunk: 01-Sep-2000 Wreck penetration is possible. Technical or decompression diving.

Ray Of Hope
Stuart Coves Dive Bahamas Team sank The Ray of Hope (a freighter), which became Nassaus 16th wreck diving location. The 200-ft long wreck is sitting upright and is located directly behind the Bahama Mama with its bow at 40 feet sloping down to the stern at 60 feet. She landed fully intact and allows divers to penetrate her interior, cabins, and gangways. The large cargo hold is open and is crossed with beams that cast shadows along the floor.
13m / 43ft
19m / 62ft
Deliberately sunk: 01-Jul-2003 Wreck penetration is possible. Technical or decompression diving. More info...
