October 2003 Whale watching during the dive interval. Good diving from the excellent boat Lionfish IV. Dived with Perth Diving Academy in Fremantle.

February 2004 Rottness Island is a nice location to dive, snorkel and also relax on the beaches. The water temp was around 20 degrees C, it has many swim throughs and caves with lots to see, with the odd wreck, one that still juts out of the water close to the shore. There is a Dive centre on the Island called Malibu Diving.

November 2005 Dived on 2 days, 2 dives each day at different different sites around Rottnest Island with Perth Diving Academy. They were great friendly and helpful, they're boat Lionfish 4 is large and well equipped with a super crew and skipper Dale took us to some excellent dive sites around the Island, each one was different to the last. They all had lots of marine life and corals as well as some super swim throughs and caves. On both days we saw Humpback whales to and from the dives. Water was 20 degrees at surface and at 18metres saw lots of fish including stonefish, blue angel, oorish idol, westerrn blue groper and even a baby octopus hiding away in one nook in one of the swim throughs. I had an excellent couple of days diving with the people at Perth Diving Academy and would recommend them to anyone heading out that way.
