October 2008 Went there two weeks after the last hurricane it didn't hit the actual area but high seas had done some damage to the coral we stayed at the Ibrostar Daiquiri Hotel ,food and drinks were very good and the staff were brilliant can highly recommend. Did my 10 dives with Green Moray dive centre located at the Melia hotel just along the beach easy walking distance, the staff there were very good and though I had taken my own kit all their equipment appeared to be fairly new and in good condition the main man there was called Rey pronounced Ray. Not a massive amount to do outside the hotel a few trips you can go on from what I hear I don't recommend the overnight to Havana, plenty of entertainment in the hotel the night and day swimming pools were exceptionally clean and the rooms were pretty good as well.
