April 2011 Be sure to locate a diveshop that takes small groups out (2-4 people). Be prepared for light-heavy current.

January 2009 There is little in any way of 'reef' diving in this locatin. The bottom is sandy and you can find Bull Sharks at the right time of year. If you want a really intresting dive experiance try the Cenotes (fresh water caves) they are breath taking. Else head over to the Island for much better coral life.

May 2008 All drift diving. The reefs were pretty good, but I found the cenotes to be worth the visit on their own.

June 2006 Loved it! Didn't expect the diving in Mexico to be this good. Fabulous reefs just off from the resort (Playacar) where we saw loads of turtles each and every dive plus fantastic marine life including the biggest parrot fish I have ever seen anywhere! Cozumel was even better with fantastic coral walls, drop offs and swim throughs. The cenotes are a once in alifetime experience. Really spacelife and strange but absolutely beautiful. Suitable for all. (My boyfriend took his PADI OW & AOW whilst we there whilst I have over 250 dives and have been diving for 7+ years.

August 2006 Beautiful warm waters and good visibility. Went with Scuba caribe in Playacar. There were some good dive sites but Baracudda was best one.
