March 2007 Nice diving and great all around destination for the outdoor enthusiast who wants a taste of good diving together with lush topside scenery, hiking, kayaking and beach.

September 2004 Ni'ihau is the best diving from Kauai. I was there in Aug. 2003 diving with Bubbles Below. They're awesome. The visibility is unreal and the soft corals are gorgeous. I went diving with Bubbles Below again in Sept. 2004. The boat ride home from Ni'ihau can be an adventure, but it's worth it. I'm going back to Kauai tomorrow (Aug. 12) and I'll be diving with Bubbles Below for the 3rd time in as many years. If you're in Hawaii, you must dive Ni'ihau, and you must dive with Bubbles Below.

October 2004 Went boat diving twice with Fathom Five - they are very friendly and professional, only 6 divers per boat. The fall/winter season makes the water conditions a bit unpredictable.

September 2003 Fabulous diving at the island of Niihau. The boat ride is a killer, but well worth the time and wear and tear on your butt. Dove with Hawaiian Monk Seals, an endangered species. They came and played with us on 2 of our 3 dives. On one dive, several of them fought over the priviledge of playing with the divers. WOW! Also had 2 kinds of sharks and lots of other fish. Bubbles Below Kaua'i was the provider. These guys are good. Great boat and crew, and a fabulous divemaster. The other dives around Kaua'i were merely real good. They had lots of turtles and reef fish. Get away from Oahu and get over here and dive.

January 2005 It had been raining hard for 5 days before these dives so the visibility was way down. Even so, the dives were very good, the animal life was plentiful, and as always, it was a delight to deal with Bubbles Below Kaua'i. They are the best on the island. Try them during the fall when they go to Niihau!
