September 2010 Is was the first time we have dived in a river and up under a waterfall, this was not a deep dive, no more than five meters, i would not say it is the best place to dive if you have not practiced good bouyance control and carried out a few fast drift dives as one false move can send you crashing in to the rocks and rapids or leave you pined up under a ledge!! But if you feel up to it and have a good bit of drift diving under your weight belt then go for it and try something to talk about for many years to come. The water was a good four degs below the local loch temp, and looked very dark but when you get in it was so much fun you could not feel the cold and the vis was better as the light can cut though the water and be bounced back off the bottom.
