August 2005 CYPRESS CHARTERS Inc. was a really great professional dive boat. The water is a bit chilly a bit chilly but in a dry suit no problem. (real california diver do it wet!!!) The kelp forest was incredible lots of star fish and a few very cute very friendly sea lions.

December 2005 Monterey is a little cold, but that is why we dive with dry suits. Lots to do topside.

September 2005 This was our first dive in Monterey and we had a great time. The sea lions joined us for a while and when we went into the kelp they would duck in and out checking on us. Lots of starfish!

May 2005 Monterey is a divers dream. I have dove this area for years and still have a great dive every time. There is a lot to offer both above and below the surface. If you like u/w photo and spear fishing, this is a great place to visit. There are a few dive boats that take divers inside the bay and far beyond the bay to Big Sur. Monterey, Big Sur and the North Coast are not for the faint at heart. Northern California diving is some of the most intense that mother nature has to offer. If you are 'resort' certified, I advise you to dive with someone who knows the area. Cold water, heavy surge at times and large waves have put more than one person in jeapordy! Use caution but enjoy the beauty that the Central/Northern Coast has to offer.

May 2005 Up to 60 ft in Depth . Lots of rock formations with crabs, coral-like growths, and many fish at 20-30ft level.

February 2005 this was just my second dive trip. still getting used to cold water diving, but enjoyable all the same. probably not very interesting to someone who has spent time in the carribean or indo-pacific
