April 2008 Had a blast, did my open water certification there. Water was a bit chilly (17 celcius) in April but can't complain too much.

May 2008 Excellent visibility but cold water (17-18 Celcius surface temp) in May. Lots of reef fish and great coral formations on a sandy bottom.

May 2008 This is where I learned to dive. I did the first half of my instruction in Rhodes with a company called Waterhoppers and finished it later in France. I had a blast and saw an amazing amount of reeffish during the open water dives of the course. Others who went with me also enjoyed the trip immensely and said that they had a chance for many swim-throughs. Water temp was 18 Celcius.

October 2002 A completely overdived site. At the time of my visit it was the only site on Rhodes at which the Greek authorities permitted scuba diving. As a result of this it was mobbed with two large dive schools running their full range of courses there. I simply wouldn't bother!!

October 2005 A lot will have chnaged now that the Greek Govt has opened up waters aroungthe Greek islands. At the time of my trip it was only possible to dive in Kalithea Bay. Easy diving @ 12 - 14m but enjoyale just the same. Lots of swimthroughs and general diving. will need to keep an eye on Rhodes as I feel that this can become a great destination for diving.
