April 2007 no big fish no sharks ... my guess is due to long line fishing .... too bad cause seeing a shark would have made the dive PERFECT

February 2007 We started our diving with Northern Coast. The staff were very friendly. The visibilty was excellent and there was lots of sea life. Would definiely go back.

June 2006 We were further round the caost, staying at the all-inclusive resort of Bahia Principe. We went with ScubaCaribe who were a nice and friendly bunch. Not a great selection of dive sites, I did them all. Always something to see, but nothing new by the 7/8th dive... The overall group ability dictates where you go. Natrual Pool is great for beginners, but a bit dull for those more experienced...

January 2006 5 out of 7 dives with excellent visibility (all in Sosua). Really good experience! We had a package deal (acommodation+scuba+Spanish classes) with El Colibri, and we were very pleased with our choice.

February 2002 I started going to Sosua in 1998 and have been back twice a year ever since. In 2002 I stayed there for 10 months. Sosua is a great value for money getaway with some great diving. I get all my deal through Dominican Diving Holidays who are very friendly and helpful. They are in partnership with a good dive centre on the beach called Hippocampo Dive centre. I look forward to booking with Dominican-Diving.Com again next year. A big hallo to Eddie, Nikki and Andy who put me through my PADI Rescue course. See you soon guys! Hola!

November 2005 didnt go to sousa, went just up the coast to the rui complex at puerta plata. the diving was mainly for beginners and was basic and not very varied. in fact i did 8 dives in total including 1 dive 3 times! people were really nice and the rum was good, but will stick to egypt and the maldives in the future!!

October 2005 Prior to visiting many people said the diving was poor and I would be disappointed. Stayed at Casa Marina Beach but went out with North Coast Divers in Sosua. Had excellent set of dives, initially booked 10 but added further six later on. Staff were very friendly and accommodating helping us to visit as many different sites as possible. Night dives on Paradise reef were excellent as were trips to Gri Gri lagoon and Du Du freshwater caverns. Wasn't dissappoimted at all!!
