June 2009 Fish life pretty dead. Saw a few, but only tiny versions of th types which are normally so common in the Indian Ocean. The anchored fishing boats in the middle of this marine reserve probably explain why. Coral on the whole is good and blossoming, but seems to be quite dull in colour - maybe it's the lack of fish. Some crown of thorns munching their way through coral. No pelagics seen, although whale sharks reportedly turn up from time to time - they would say that wouldn't they!! Overall a disappointment, mainly due to the lack of fishlife. Why they do not protect their marine parks I do not know. Not as good as Tioman.

May 2006 Current can be strong both below & Surface at times. Look out for the Titan Trigger fish , they will bit especially when breeding. Bumbhead parrot fish are quite a common sight. Check out Lang bay in the early morning @ 32m plus to spot shark having a nap.

May 2005 good place to go to for a weekend dive trip if you're near Malaysia or Singapore.

May 2005 Pulau Aur and Pulau Dayang are 2 islands side by side separated by a channel of water about 200 metres apart at its closest. Nice diving there for every kind of experience level. Lots of reef fish, barracudas, smaller varierty rays and even dolphins. Certain times of the year you can see whale sharks and hammerheads there too.
