October 2007 We only did three dives around Kapalai itself on our trip to Sipadan. Of the three we really liked Kapalai Rock -- its a macro/muck dive (as all are around Mabul and Kapalai) There was a great variety of unique macro life, including orang-utan crabs, pygmy seahorses, mantis shrimp, pharaoh cuttlefish, waspfish and really great nudis. If you are visiting Sipadan, try to go to this site!!

May 2007 Kapalai is a great muck diving location. We saw many weird and wonderful critters that we'd never come across before. The highlight of Kapalai Diving was the sunset dive on the house reef searching for Mandarin fish and of course you have 2 boat dives a day to Sipadan. Could you want for anything more? :)

December 2004 Great diving and no mossies like there were on Sipadan (20 mins boat ride away). More turtles and white tips than I've ever seen!
