Dive In's second National Dive Site, Dosthill Quarry near Tamworth, approximately 10 miles north-east of Birmingham, was bought in 1988 from the BSAC. Set in the beautiful green belt area of the Tame Valley, it offers a number of facilities, including a diving lake to 24 metres.

Famed in bygone days for its quality granite, it enjoys particularly good visibility and some interesting underwater sights, including the original route of the quarry railway, which winds its way to the bottom.

How to get there in the UK
1. Follow the M42 northbound
2. Carry on to Junction 9
3. At the island, turn right towards Kingsbury
4. Follow the road to first island, carry straight on until you reach a second island.
5. Turn left and follow road through Kingsbury (past the Malt House pub) WATCH THE SPEED CAMERAS!!!!
6. The Church Road turning for Dosthill Quarry is on the left approx 50m before the Fox pub
7. Please turn off car radios at this point to minimise noise disturbance to local residents
8. Turn left just after the Church into the quarry car park
9. Drive down to the entrance gates to minimise noise disturbance to local residents
