August 2009 Handy location near Firkin Point carpark. Dark and dingy in the water. Gets deep very quickly and a thick layer of peaty water running off the hills ensures that it is dark with poor vis down to at least 10m. Lots of small fish scrabbling along the bottom, but not much else. Fresh and very cold water. Probably better going elsewhere (Loch Long or Loch Fyne).
