November 2005 I dived with TOP DIVE and found them to be very professional. Some of the diving I found to be a little false, to clarify, to bring in the pelagics such as the sharks, the use of a frozen Tuna tail was used, and this brought in more marine life than would normally be available in one place. However, whilst I don't condone this, it did make for interesting dives with 10ft + Lemon sharks almost aways in residence!! Vis was good, and water temperature comfortably 27 degrees + (though there are a few thermoclimes). The island of Moorea itself is beautiful and found that if you make a little effort in speaking the language, it's usually appreciated by the locals. Things aren't cheap here however. I have found out that the islands as a collective are the second most expensive place in the world... second only to Monaco. Saying that, I'd love to go back there, but only when my bank balance has recovered!!!

November 2005 Coral carpets the bottom! Excellent videography possible. Black-tip sharks plentiful on nearly all dives; also numerous grays and a couple of lemon sharks. *Various* sitings of turtles, scorpionfish, clownfish, eels, etc. Topside: lush mountain scenery, great beaches like its neighbor Tahiti except less crowded. Moorea FUN-Dive is an excellent operator, with very personalized and flexible service and good land facilities (lockers, shower, etc)--Roland and Edmee are very friendly--diving isn't just a business for them! Best experience of my ten+ dive trips. (Advice: choose air conditioned lodging.)

August 2005 Fun Dive were by far, the best dive company I have been with in 10 years of diving. Very personal service, nothing was too much trouble. I would love to go back. Thanks guys.
