September 2006 A good place to spend a weekend shore diving especially for the less experienced or trainee divers as it is a maximum depth of 8m on HW springs, although it is best dived on slack water as the tide can run across the pier. Lots of life late spring and summer, lobsters, crab, starfish, blennies, octopus, pipefish, occasional rays to mention a few species. Nice easy entry and exit points from beach or harbour wall and toilets in public car park a few hundred yards from pier. Looking forward to seeing you there soon.

May 1998 Good place to dive. Under the pier has lots of crustations. If the weather blows it out, it`s not too far to Dorothea or Vivian Quarry.
