October 2005 Beautifull reef. Alot of turtles and rays. Quite cuttlefish and nuddibranches. Dived with Cairns Dive Center. Good instructurs and a good liveaboard (MV Kangaroo) but I was very disappointed with their selection of reef spots. Milnn Reef was clearly the best along with Briggs fish bowl. The wild side on Thetford reef and East Timor on Moore reef was severely damaged and in a poor shape fishwise. We were on a 5 day liveaboard and the boat circled between the same spots so the variation was limited. This should be improved before I decide to dive with them again.
