A great wreck dive. We did an orientation dive followed by a penetration dive. Has been really well set up to allow easy penetration for relatively inexperienced divers. Will return in a couple of months to do a wreck specialty on it. Highly recommend Go-Dive from Brisbane. Very organised and professional. Great wreck which will only improve as a reef with time.

HMAS Brisbane

133 metre guided missile destroyer that has settled perfectly upright on the sand bed in around 27 metres. Access inside the “Brisbane” is optimum with all internal areas offering three points of natural lighting with wide, open entry and exit swim throughs. The ex-HMAS Brisbane is the only purpose designed dive wreck in Australia where you can actually dive inside the engine and boiler rooms.

Lots of reef fish and the occasional leopard and banjo shark. Very safe penetration diving with excellent access.
