May 2010 Afternoon dive on the MV AKKA by RIB. weather not bad although a little overcast. Pitch black below about 10m and vis very limited indeed (particles in the water). Wreck covered in dead mans fingers and brittle stars. Difficult to orientate around the wreck as you can only see a small part at a time. Rudder quite distinct. Some fish, but nothing big. ferries everywhere. Stilll a good dive.

November 2005 ** Finnart Pier ** Training dive area used by a lot of dive companies based in the west. This dive site is in close quarters to a Naval base so it is best to be on good behaviour or a visit will result. Old pier legs makes a good dive and from entry to the peir legs and back again will take an hour. Pier legs covered in soft corals and sea life of some form or the other.
