Vis is a perfect place for diving in Croatia.

It has 4 DC's and many great diving spots around the island and around nearby islands. You can do wreck diving here - shallow or deep, 6 wrecks from 10 to 70 meters, you can do amphoras diving (both greek and roman), you can do cave diving here - dive famous Blue cave on nearby island Bisevo, or you can do many reef and wall diving here (both shallow or deep).

If you want deep diving there is a center that offers trimix/tech dives.

Inner island is also very interesting, you can rent a car and explore it. There are not many hotels, only 'domestic old architecture' - very romantic. Vis is an old island, there are old marks of romans and greeks, like roman spa and greek graveyard. People are very kind. Not expensive there. Delicious food and fine wine. The best time to visit Vis is from April to October but it's also nice all the year.

Ferry from city Split is sailing everyday to island Vis.
