November 2008 the surf beach entries and exits in the rib add to the fun too!

July 2007 Couple of lovely cold water dives. Lots of fish, turtles and half a dozen good sized grey nurse sharks. Dived with Sundive who were excellent. Dived both Cod Hole and Hugo's trench and both were worth it. Added bonus of breaching humpbacks on the boat trip out. Can't wait to get back at Christmas for a summer dive.

January 2007 Julian Rocks presents some interesting diving... there was a lot of HUGE stuff around the Rocks. Saw a 4m wobbegong (in addition to the zillions of wobbies strewn all over the place), a couple of bull rays about 2m across, Mantas, blind sharks, cuttlefish, awesome baby yellowbox fish (they look like little swimming yellow gumballs with black spots!) lobsters, clown triggerfish and a very cool egg cowry, just to name some stuff. We stayed at a b&b called Planula which is about 3km from town.. the owners are avid divers.. good people.. it's a great place to stay, exp. if you don't want to be in the middle of the madness of downtown Byron.
