Wife and Daughter completed open water courses. I tried photography for the first time. Saw mantaray for the first time what a thrill.

Dived from Komanadoo with ProDivers who were excellent. Lovely diving, though would rate the Southern Red Sea more highly. The vis is not the best at this time of year due to a lot of plankton in the water, but all thoroughly enjoyable.

Made 13 dives with Pro-divers from Kuredu, enjoyed all the dives particularly caves & Express - 14 grey reef sharks around us at one dive at Express.
Several eagle rays, turtles & an encounter with a manta with lots of smaller reef fish about.

Lots of diving done on the island of Kuredu, prodivers have it all sorted out, all year shortie, water temp 29 deg some great sites shipyard was gr8 wreck site, clear gr8 vis on the day Kuredu express gr8 dive strong currents but loads to see. The house reef is fantastic dive for experienced & non alike easy entry & exit wreck at 20mtr at approx 150 bar for me had lots of large napoleon & turtles everywhere a nice relaxing dive. Plenty of big stuff around although vis was not that good due to time visited (end of monsoon season)

Visibility not so good at this time of year. green & hawksbill sea turtles on virtually every dive and lots of reef fish. Have been to this atoll twice now, but would probably try a different one next time in the Maldives.

We stayed on Kuredu Island and had a fantastic time. Not even the Tsunami hitting dampened our spirits and it's testiment to the staff of the island that they coped with this emergency in such a capable manner. It's a top place to go and hopefully we'll get back there one day.
