April 2012 Dived with 'Subex' swiss company. Very efficient and well organised. All the equipment was in very good condition. lots of great dive sites (mainly small bays)

September 2008 We stayed at the Radisson Resort and dived with Extra Divers, who are located at the hotel. The diving was very good (almost all shore diving): nice canyons to start in, clear water, beautiful corals, lots of fish and nobody around you.

October 2007 we stayed at akassia swiss resort and dived with water world. A german run dive school but both DIs and Egyptian DMs speak english, very good set up, unlimited diving of house reef, free nitrox and plenty of shore dives, saw a dugong at el sheik Malik and dolphin at zerib Kabir, also run trips to elphinstone, salaam express, dolphin house and a couple of other sites - interesting dive entry at torfa sabaa via a small cave. Water temp was an ave of 28 and could be windy with some surge at some sites but majority ok

April 2006 Nice resort, efficient but unfriendly dive centre. Nice easy diving for divers gaining experience or if you just want a few casual dives. Far better diving from a liveaboard. Not reccommended for photographers (must take private guide @ 40 euro per dive).
