The Seaside Centre is located at the centre of the West coast and, moreover, on the black sandy beach of Batalie.
Our Diving personnel are qualified and ready to go and have fun.
Our Instructor speaks English, French, Dutch and German fluently. Moreover she has an excellent knowledge of the underwater life.
Our Dive Centre is fully-equipped with two aluminum boats of 7 meters, with outboard motors, having a capacity of 10 divers each.
As we await you to discover the underwater reserve on the West Coast which comprises of the most fantastic diving spots of the Caribbean, characterized by a great diversity, the coral gardens more surprising, populated by flora and a fauna which is incredibly dense and colored.
Your diving will be punctuated by viewing and meeting spectacular sea creatures such as: Residential Whales, Dolphins, the Barracudas, Tunas, or for the impassioned of underwater photography pleasure of seeing Antenna ire and our friends Seahorses.

Sunset Bay Club and Seaside Dive Resort is nestled between a tropical hillside and the Batalie river.

An ideal home base to discover Dominica's towering mountains, original rain forests crossed by rivers and waterfalls and the Caribbean sea.

Our Dive resort is located on our beach and we have an PADI MSDT Instructor managing our dive center. You can contact us for dives in the south, middle west and north side of the island. Discover scuba dive, dive courses and even Specialty courses are available.

Relax and enjoy sunbathing on our sandy beach or take a swim in the clear waters of the Caribbean Sea, the 'house' river or in our private swimming pool.

Owned and managed by a Belgian family who speak English, French, German, Spanish and Flemish, Sunset Bay opened its doors on 24 Oct 1997.

Only 20 minutes drive from Canefield Airport or a 1 hour drive from Melville Hall Airport. There is a public transport (mini bus) stop at the hotel entrance.
