December 2010 Not a very inspiring town but the diving was good. The thresher sharks at Pescador Island were the highlight, although there were lots of good macro as well. Great variety of crabs and shrimps and an excellent night dive sight just off shore from Cebu Dive Centre. We were quite a large group of adults and students and Cebu Dive looked after us well. Lots of turtles and a fabulous sardine ball (hence the thresher sharks). Worth a week but you would probably have seen the best of everything by then.

February 2007 Excellent diving, frog fish, pygmy seahorses, nudibranchs

March 2005 Pescador is wonderful, watch your depth! The other dives are not bad neither especially at night

July 2005 It is a great budget place to dive with good snorkeling off the beach and a nice wall 50 meters off shore and around pescador island. There is not much sand - this place is geared for divers and snorkelers

November 2005 people were friendly, great budget diving, good for beginners.

February 2005 it is cheap, but don't expect many colourfull reef fish, and no big fish. AND if you see the mini-tuna fish at the market places, you know that overfishing is a fact here. too bad, because moalboal people are very kind.
